Central: Customs Tariff Law Will Not Affect the Standard of Living of the Iraqi People
Baghdad / (Rn) – The Central Bank of Iraq adviser said Saturday that the customs tariff law will not affect the standard of living of the Iraqi people.
He said the appearance of Mohammed Saleh told the Kurdish news agency (Rn) announced today that the “activating the law of customs tariffs by the Ministry of Finance in March, will not affect the standard of living of the Iraqi people because the law of proportions Evrd conductor; ticket man on the food.”
Saleh added that “The law confirms the deduction of amounts of import customs (10% to 20%) on luxury goods, and the exclusion of food items that affect the livelihood of the citizen.”
He added that “Customs will do its luxury goods that do not affect the economic situation in the country and will share those goods within specific tables determines the ratio of customs on all goods, provided that it does not exceed 20% of its value according to customs tariff law.”
The Ministry of Finance that the federal law approved by the Iraqi Council of Representatives would end the problems of border crossings by 80%.
Salih noted that “the activation of the Customs Law in the coming period will contribute to the protection of Iraqi products and import support Iraq’s economic and protects the consumer of Iraqi origins, is known worldwide.”
