Honesty Pays – Half Million Iraqi Dinars & Money Bag Given as Gift

KUWAIT CITY, Nov. 13: An expatriate whose identity hasn’t been disclosed found a bag containing about 5 million Iraqi dinars equivalent to KD 1,000 inside the Salmiya Cooperative Society, reports Al-Shahed daily.
According to the daily, the expatriate headed directly to the Salmiya police station to hand over the money to security officers, and then he found its owner who was about to file a complaint at the station.
Owner of the money works as an exchange agent, and he is said to have given the expatriate half a million Iraqi dinars as gift plus the money bag.
