Iraq and Iran Are Competing for the Presidency of the “OPEC”

Said Iranian Oil Minister Rostam Ghasemi, “The competition between Iran and Iraq on the position of the General Secretariat of the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries / OPEC / look more serious.”
Said Ghasemi in a press statement, according to the news agency Fars that he “did not issue a crucial decision by Saudi Arabia to abandon competition for the General Secretariat for “OPEC.”
But it seems that the competition between Iran and Iraq on the job has become more serious than Saudi Arabia. ” He explained, “The decision to choose the secretary general of the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries must be unanimously by all members and the possibility of any of the members veto decision in this regard.”
