Iraq Consumes 20 Million Liters of Gasoline Per Day

Baghdad, (Rn) – The Iraqi Oil Ministry on Friday that Iraq consumes 20 million liters per day of gasoline, and 22 million liters of oil, liquid gas and six million liters of white oil.
U.S. Undersecretary of the Ministry of Oil Ahmed Chandler Kurdistan News Agency (Rn) that “these quantities are fluctuating between season and last, but not exceeding a lot about the previous figures, especially with the tendency for the oil ministry to expand the capacity of refineries, the liquidation of oil derivatives.”
Offered to the Oil Ministry last April three large refineries to invest up production capacity to 150 thousand barrels per day.
Chandler said that “The oil ministry is developing an integrated study in each season to deliver the products, oil derivatives, all the Iraqi provinces.”
Iraq seeks to access the oil produced within the next six years between 10 and 12 million barrels per day, and plans to increase Iraq’s oil exports oil daily after obtaining approval from the Organization of the international oil cartel.
