Shabibi Iraq Raises Issues of Banking in Switzerland

Baghdad,Central Bank of Iraq is preparing to participate in the meetings of the Bank for International Settlements in Switzerland.
The governor of the central bank’s Shabibi / JD / “The meetings of the Bank for International Settlements in Switzerland will be held today to discuss issues of international banking and financial as well as the global economic crisis.”
Shabibi said, “I will put in the meetings the issues of the banks and the central bank of Iraq.”
The Governor of the Central Bank of Iraq in the meetings of International Settlements, which was launched today, Sunday, Guy Switzerland.
The BIS is an international organization of central banks to “strengthen financial cooperation and international financial and operating as a bank for central banks.”
Not subject to any accountability to the government and the Bank of its work through sub-committees, and secretariats (Secretaries) to be hosted by, and through the annual general meeting with all members.
And also result in banking services, but only to central banks, international organizations or the like.
Bank is headquartered in Basel, Switzerland, was founded in accordance with the Hague Conventions of 1930.
