He reported that “the establishment of the foreign investor in Iraq, you must be available to the guarantor of Iraqi nationality,” noting that “recovery of the housing requires a period of 10 days, & provided room for only 6 months, renewable. “
When it comes to getting a work permit is Oozcokov explained that “require a work permit for a period ranging from 5 to 6 months,” reveals that “the central government in Baghdad must accept a work permit issued to the investor.”
He added that “the provision of plots by the Investment Authority in the province & not a factor for attracting investors,” explaining that “the body to these pieces as money for temporary rent & not to give the exchange, which isn’t guaranteed to foreign investors. “
But, saying that “investors are facing the problem of difficulty in withdrawing the money invested in Iraqi banks,” noted that “when investors want to withdraw their money from the bank, require official approval.”
He pointed out that “the Kurdish region of Iraq, doesn’t apply to investment laws in Iraq, helping to attract investors to it,” adding that “ease of obtaining a residence permit, work permit, bank facilities, guarantees & other facilities, the factors that encouraged investment in the region “.
The work of the Turkish consulate in Basra (550) miles south of the Iraqi capital, Baghdad, includes the provinces of Maysan, Nasiriyah, Samawah, there are currently more than a dozen Turkish commercial offices in Basra, it’s hoped that the opening of Turkish commercial attache in the near future in the province.
